The southwest exposure of a formal dining room in an old country house serves as the inspiration to create a particularly calm and fluid environment.
Multiple applications of dry pigment painstakingly rubbed on the walls creates a surface that softly reflects the light through the day providing an ever changing painterly background for the table setting.
