Blooming 101/Turning Point. 1997.
Aluminum box containing a photography album with B&W analogue prints, live narcissus bulb, plaster cast, glass vase, ceramic pot, 35mm one time-use disposable camera, notebook and pencil.
The work is an attempt to depict the unfolding of Time, by capturing in a series of still images fleeting moments of “Actuality” and so reveal the spatiotemporal potentiality latent inside a flower bulb but absent in an artificial one fabricated from plaster.
Twin edition.
